Here are some of our most frequently asked questions

Q. Are there disabled facilities?

A. Yes, we have disabled toilets on all the main toilet blocks and mobility scooters or wheelchairs are available to hire from Event Mobility, they must be booked in advance (not available to hire on the day) – please click here to book.  Forward disabled parking is available for Blue Badge Holders and those who have hired mobility scooters/wheelchairs (please be aware that space cannot be guaranteed after 10.30am).

Q. Is the showground suitable for wheelchair users?

A. The showground is accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users but please be aware that it is a greenfield site with no permanent metalled footpaths or roadways and the ground can be uneven in places

Q. What is your policy on carers?

A. Disabled visitors are charged full price, an accompanying carer goes free on production of a DWP award letter or proof of eligibility to claim PIP.  Disabled concession tickets, which include a carer, must be purchased online via this website either before the Show or on the day.

Q. Is there a baby changing area?

A. Yes, it is part of the Church Stand.

Q. Are dogs welcome?

A. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short, fixed (non-retractable) lead at all times.  Please be aware that dogs are not permitted in certain marquees, the livestock lines and some other areas on the Showground.  Please do not, under any circumstances, leave dogs in cars and please clean up any mess.
