The postcode for the showground is CO11 2ND but please follow the signage rather than your satnav.  There will be yellow signs directing all traffic from the A120 and A137 and all public car parks will be clearly marked.  Please consider car sharing to help reduce our carbon footprint and traffic congestion.

By Rail

Manningtree Railway station is a 20-minute walk from the Showground.

For National Rail enquiries call 0871 781 8181 or visit the  National Rail or Greater Anglia websites.

By Bus

Please check First Essex Buses Saturday Timetable. Routes via Manningtree on the A137 will go past the Showground. Visit the Traveline website for details.

Parking Facilities

Parking is FREE. A forward disabled parking area is available for Blue Badge Holders (please be aware that space cannot be guaranteed after 10.30am).

Accessibility

There is disabled car parking available for Blue Badge Holders.  Your Blue Badge must be clearly in view for our traffic control team to see, failure to display this, means you may not be parked in the disabled car park.   When arriving from either the A137 or via the A120 or A133 you will be directed to the Disabled Car Park by Main Entrance ‘D’ – please click here to download the showground approach plan to see the disabled car park and main Entrance Gate ‘D’ and where you will be parked.

Event Mobility Scooters are positioned by Entrance to Gate ‘D’.    If required, you can hire a scooter or wheelchair through Event Mobility by Wednesday 26 June, subject to availability (early booking is recommended).  Book online or call on 01386 725391 for information. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.  If you book a Mobility Scooter you will be sent a forward area car park pass.  Please display this pass to ensure you are directed to the correct car park for the Event Mobility stand.

The showground is accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users but please be aware that it is a greenfield site with no permanent metalled footpaths or roadways and the ground can be uneven in places.

Disabled toilets are available but we do not have a changing places facility on site.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short, fixed (non-retractable) lead at all times.  Please be aware that dogs are not permitted in certain marquees, the livestock lines and some other areas on the Showground.  Please do not, under any circumstances, leave dogs in cars and please clean up any mess.

First Aid

St John Ambulance will be in attendance all day.

Show Programmes

Programmes with pull-out Show Plans are available for purchase on the day of the Show from all the main gates.
